Chester House Hotel

First time to the Cotswolds and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful countryside and the hotel was fantastic. Definitely recommend. Warm and cosy. Restaurant very good too.

Cracking little restaurant with adjoining apartments. Small car park for tenants, although fewer spaces than rooms, so you may be disappointed on busy days. Great staff. Lovely updated rooms, but could be better soundproofed (downstairs snoring was pretty bad). Beautiful restaurant with first class food. Small bar and the ales are only in bottles and fairly pricey. Nice gin.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very kind, attentive, and accomodating to our family including a one year old. Would recommend as a place to stay for families especially with young children.

This was such a wonderful experience! My sister and I were traveling here from London for one night. Truly a magical experience. The staff was so nice, we had breakfast included, the rooms were so clean, and quaint. To top it off, the restaurant was fabulous!

We enjoyed our stay at The Chester House Hotel. The service was great and we felt very welcomed. The room was clean and comfortable. We also liked the location being a little way off the busy high street, but very close to it, so it was easy to walk and explore. We'd stay here again!

We're taken away here for an anniversary weekend by family who had stayed here before. Arrived Friday lunch time to be greeted with a warm welcome by all the staff even as they walked passed. When our room was ready they even found us in the bar to let us know. The room was lovely, huge bed and well furnished. Went out to see Christmas light switch on, came back and even with the restaurant fully booked they managed to russel up a pizza for us, thank you so much. Bed was really comfortable and breakfast was amazing, cereal followed by a quality full English, toast and pastries. Staff always attentive but not intrusive. The carpark is small so parking is tight on a first come bases.

We’ve just got back after a two night stay and we all had such a good time. We loved our stay here and instantly as soon as we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Angie on reception, who was so kind and looked after us all weekend. Amy who was the other receptionist was excellent as well and again, just so friendly. Upon arrival, we received a voucher as it was my wife’s birthday which was a really nice touch and was a great way to kick off the weekend. The bar area is cosy and has a good variety of drinks! The room was lovely, clean and spacious which is ideal when you have a little one. The breakfast was really good, with the meat coming from a butchers nearby and eggs from a farm. The lady Anna, who served us breakfast each morning was also lovely and so cheery. She made such an effort with our son, who really loved her which was really nice and her service was fantastic. Great location with a stones throw away from the water and given how good the location is, there was a lot of parking and even when full there is some on street parking just round the corner. A great hotel, great staff and we hope to return soon.

Exceeded expectations Very please with our stay at this town centre hotel. Free parking on site is essential as limited spaces available in town centre. Facilities great, staff pleasant and helpful, lovely lounge and restaurant. We dined at the in-house Italian offer and highly recommend.
